8 Simple Steps to Consign Your Item
Step 1: Identify your location
a) Petaling Jaya/ Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
b) Other Parts of Malaysia (pls specify)
c) International (pls specify)
Step 2: Select your option of inspection
a) The Shopaholics Bar to inspect and take quality pictures
b) You take the pictures for us
Step 2a): Determine on who keeps the item: You or The Shopaholics Bar
Step 3: Select your choice of advertisement
a) Advertise for free at The Shopaholics Bar if you consign with us
b) Serviced advertising. The Shopaholics Bar to actively source for buyers
Step 4: Select your desired advertising period
a) 45 days
b) 90 days
Step 5: Email us on your selection of Step 1 to Step 4
Include your details: Name, Contact No, Item Name, Desired Selling Price
Step 6: We will reply within 24 hours on your next course of action!
a) Meet up for item inspection, take professional pictures
b) Request for more and more of pictures that you personally take
c) Transfer of monies for active advertising
Step 7: Sit back and relax! Await for our email/ sms on the closed deal!

Step 8: Closing the deal:
a) Item is with The Shopaholics Bar :
Upon the delivery of the item (evidenced by postage slip), we will transfer the monies to you
b) Item is with you:
We will instruct you to deliver via post to the buyer and 70% of selling price is transferred to you. Scan/ Email us the tracking slip / number.
Upon the receipt of the item by the buyer, you will receive the balance of 30%
c) If we managed to sell the item within 45 days/ 60days of your contract term:
5% deducted from the sale price in the event your item is sold

Consignment with The Shopaholics Bar is a great way for you to make money without effort! You have new or like new designer clothing and accessories that don't fit, you forgot to return, or you don't wear or use them anymore? We will market and sell them for you!
Q: What can I consign?
Authentic designer/ branded handbags (totes, clutch, etc) , wallets and shoes …. we are always open to new items!
Q: Any particular designer / brand required?
Only new or like-new pre-loved items in excellent condition, no rips or stains.
Q: How much is my item worth?
It varies according to the age and condition of the item. But we often leave the determination of sale price to you. :)
Q: How much will I get in return?
You will get your monies back in full as your determined price.
Q: How long will my item be ‘displayed’?
As long as you want us to!
Q: Do I have to pay for advertise with The Shopaholics Bar?
No. It`s FREE!

Q: How do you work?
We will inspect your item to confirm its authenticity. Upon agreement of the sale price, we will conduct a photosession and posting up the pictures and details of your bag for only RM10. We will liase with all potential buyers for you. You will only be contacted when we have a confirm buyer!
We also offer Serviced Advertising where minimal charges of only RM10 are imposed as we actively advertise your item in every possible website available plus our network of potential buyers.
Q: Then what does The Shopaholics Bar earn?
Our reward would be earned through a small commission of 5%- 10% (depending on the value of item) deducted from the sale price in the event your item is sold though us! That means we have done a good job! :)
Q: What designer brands are accepted?
We accept all designer brands as long they are in good condition.
Q: Do I have to leave my item with you?
Only for 2 - 3 days for inspection and professional photography taking. :) After that, you may keep your precious safely with you, unless you would like us to keep it for you. If you wish to send us only pictures, we accept them, only if they clear and well-taken, reflecting the true condition of the item
Q: Why should The Shopaholics Bar take the pictures for you?
We specialize in taking ‘delicious’ pictures of your item. This will increase the marketability of your item!
Q: How will I be paid?
Upon closing the deal with the buyer, we will collect the bag from you and you will be paid on the spot. Its between you and TheShopaholicsBar only.
Q: I am not in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Can I still consign?
No worries, email us on this! We request all possible pictures from you to ensure on the condition and authenticity of your item. We will only charge a minimal amount for our advertising & marketing efforts! Refer to our serviced advertising rates!

2) We only profit a minimal 5% - 10% profit after deducting the time and effort to actively source a buyer for you. Some designer consignor shops charges 30% of the selling price and some only returns you back 50% of the price they sold the item for! We strive for continuous long-term customers. Rest assured!
3) Unlike other websites, you can place your item for sale on their web for free and it stops there. But we will go miles ahead with ACTIVE advertising for you with a minimal to ensure your item gets SOLD.
